William Spencer Palestrant/26-Rocking

The end of day, back at the cabin. We used the wood-burning stove to
the right most evenings to keep Will warm. Note also the pump visible
in the background on the left, used to draw water in from the well. Life
at camp is not living richly, but living well. My parents treated Spencer
as an antidote to the excesses of life growing up in New York City.
Will seems utterly content here, as well.
